Our World Scout Jamboree team – Erica, Elsa, Jack, Jacob and Emma – have been incredibly busy raising funds for their trip to the World Scout Jamboree in Poland in 2027!

Over the past few months, they have thrown themselves into a wide range of fundraising activities. They have marshalled at triathlons and at Cheshire Show, baked and sold delicious cakes and biscuits, and led crafting workshops at their local library. They have also been busy selling hot dogs at school events, baking pies for the famous Wybunbury Pie Rolling event, running stalls at village fetes, organising fun swim sessions for local Cubs, Scouts and Explorers, and hosting fantastic bingo evenings. Look out for them at Nantwich Food Festival and also watch this space to find out more about a Scouting colour run, later on this year!

A particular highlight was the Spring Raffle, which proved to be a huge success. We would like to thank all the local businesses who generously donated prizes. Not only did their support help raise valuable funds for the Jamboree trip, but the raffle also provided great exposure for the businesses involved, helping to showcase them to our local community.

As we look ahead to our Winter Raffle, we are once again seeking prize donations. If you or your business would like to contribute a prize, we would love to hear from you. Please get in touch with Sally on 07779 666343.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the team so far through donations, attendance at events and sponsorship. Your generosity is helping make this incredible international Scouting adventure possible!
